RESERVES: include a $10,000 donation that came in at the end of 2020. As of early 2021, we are working with the donor to distribute Medi Teddys where most needed, but since that has not happened yet (as of early 2021), we did not officially mark it as a “program expense” in the 2020 graph. So “Reserves” could be more accurately thought of as $4, 466.

OVERHEAD: includes our expenses for accounting and bookkeeping, legal fees, and insurance. We are very proud of how low we’ve been able to keep these expenses in a year!

PROGRAM FEES: go towards the plush Medi Teddys given away to children, the free shipping for the children, and a few marketing expenses. Note: we only give in bulk to hospitals through directed donations. We are not able to give in bulk to hospitals at this time without a matching donation.
